One engine prints white ink in the form of a rectangle and the second engine prints a black ink barcode immediately inside the white rectangular image. The ink dries instantly. This enables Walmart, Target, and others to receive the highest quality barcode scan results.
Ink Jet barcodes printed with black ink on brown corrugated are highly reliable and scan almost without issue (99.9% of the time).
