NOLABEL Ink Jet Printers – Why Are They Needed?
Walmart, Target, and other consumer goods retailers have automated their receiving at their Distribution Centers.
They are using scanners on their conveyors to scan barcodes on boxes that are being unloaded. They want white labels with barcodes printed on them. Pressure sensitive printed labels are expensive especially when you are labeling thousands of cases. Labels required on two sides of a case are twice as expensive.
NOLABEL is an innovative ink jet printing system made by Graphic Solid Inks (GSI) in Alpharetta, Ga. It has two print engines inside one printhead. One engine prints white ink in the form of a rectangle and the second engine prints a black ink barcode immediately inside the white rectangular image. The ink dries instantly. This enables Walmart, Target, and others to receive the highest quality barcode scan results.
Ink Jet barcodes printed with black ink on brown corrugated are highly reliable and scan almost without issue (99.9% of the time).
NOLABEL Ink Jet printers eliminate the high cost of buying or printing in-house, pressure sensitive labels (and ribbon costs) and then the labor or equipment needed to apply them to a box.
Other NOLABEL Ink Jet Printer Uses
NOLABEL inks can dry on fabrics and poly surfaces, glass, and metal almost instantly
Many non-food manufacturing applications can eliminate preprinted costs and secondary costs by printing webs of material or discrete products automatically.
