Technical Services
Success starts with good equipment, which has been properly specified,
a great installation, and superior post installation long-term support
for your equipment.
The next step after purchasing equipment is to have a great installation.
What makes an installation great? The equipment must be properly specified
for your current and predictable future uses. A pre-installation survey
of the production line involved needs to be performed by the installer.
This survey will enable us to advise you of important installation requirements
such as the type and location of electrical power, plant air, custom mounting
bracketry, guide rails, shaft encoder mounting, conveyor modifications
(if any) and computer interface requirements when applicable. It typically
involves one or more meetings with your operations and maintenance staff,
and the MIS department when computer interfacing is needed.
Next comes training. Line operators who will use the equipment and maintenance
staff who service the equipment will need training. These individuals
need to be identified by name with a time and place for training established
in advance, for them to receive effective training before and after the
installation. Training needs to be free of interruptions!
The installing technician must be experienced with this specific type
of equipment and technically competent (factory certified) in installation
and servicing procedures and the requirements for it. This is how the
Marktec technical service department and its staff conduct business on
a daily basis. We perform installations and re-installations during normal
business hours, after hours, and on weekends. We would like to serve you!
