Matthews Coditherm Thermal Transfer Overprinter (TTO)
Coditherm is a digital thermal transfer printer with a patented design, providing high-resolution marking on your parts or products. The printer excels at marking on rigid or semi-rigid materials, in addition to parts or products with uneven or porous surfaces.
Marking on non-porous plastics, such as HDPE, ABS, polypropylene, and polycarbonate, is performed without pre-treatment. Other typical applications include marking on paper, cardboard, wood, leather, and even coated metals. In addition to fixed and variable text, this unit produces high-quality, high-resolution (600 DPI) printing of barcodes and 2D codes, serial numbers, time, date, lot number and shift codes within messages.
Extremely easy to install, the Coditherm can be integrated into an automated production line or supplied as a stand-alone unit for semi-automatic use with an operator, perfect for small batches with frequent text changes. Message creation and editing is done with the controller’s touch screen graphical user interface; you can easily upload graphics and logos directly from a PC or USB memory stick. The thermal ribbons come in a wide variety of colors and styles, including hard resins, metallic, pigmented, and anti-counterfeiting.

Matthews Swing Thermal Transfer Overprinter (TTO)
The Swing is a digital thermal transfer printer that prints directly on flexible packaging materials, such as paper or plastic film. The Swing printer can be integrated with your production line, incorporating marking of the product with production and packaging, eliminating the need for a secondary operation and eliminating the need to stock a large amount of expensive pre-printed labels. The compact size of the printing head makes it easy to install in even the tightest web application. With an extensive selection of thermal ribbons available, the Swing can accommodate a wide variety of applications, from medical bags and flexible sleeves to glossy leather and wrist bands.
Unit level marking is standard with the Swing, producing high-resolution serialized or sequential 2D codes and bar codes. With instant dry times and non-toxic ribbons, the Swing unit is ideal for food and beverage applications, medical packaging, including metalized foil materials and also Tyvek® packaging materials. Logos, text, bar codes, date and time codes, lot and batch codes are all easily printed and can be produced in a single message.
The control unit, which has a 5.7” touch screen graphic user interface, is intuitive and easy to use, making message creation and selection a snap, whether you are printing text, barcodes, or logos.
